Introducing Duffs new dazzling collection - Lumiere

Duffs Jewellers’ expert team has searched far and wide to source the most beautiful and unique gemstones from around the world for Lumiere - an exquisite new collection of one-of-a-kind hand-made pieces.

The collection includes mint tourmaline from Mozambique, mandarin garnet from Nigeria, blue-green tourmaline from Afghanistan, amethyst from Brazil, blue-green tourmaline from Namibia and canary tourmaline from Zambia, each gem carefully selected and designed into a piece of jewellery that accentuates its unique characteristics.

“Everything begins with the loose gem,” explains Ben Duff.

“The shape, colour and size all start to lead me down a particular design road in order to showcase the gem to its very best. Colour is what initially draws me, but overall, the gemstone needs to sing to me.”

Ben says the collection has been designed to capture the romance of yesteryear but given a modern twist.

“With Lumiere we’ve allowed the true beauty and unique qualities of each gemstone to really shine."

The initial launch collection features seven pieces including deco-styled Namibian blue green tourmaline and diamond drop earrings, a yellow gold Nigerian mandarin garnet and diamond halo ring, and a Brazilian amethyst and diamond pendant.

Lumiere is available to view in person for a limited time at Duffs Jewellers  Geelong - Westfield store.
