Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In addition to your rights under Australian consumer law, Duffs Jewellers offer a 7 year Warranty on diamond engagement rings and selected gemstone rings. If eligible, this Warranty will be issued to you at the time of purchase. You should store this in a safe place.
To maintain this additional Warranty you must take your ring into a Duffs Jewellers store every 6 months for an inspection. At each checkup, your ring will be inspected and professionally cleaned.
In order to keep your white gold rings looking their best, we do recommend rhodium plating your ring once a year. This may have an additional charge, depending on the version of Warranty that was offered at the time of purchase. If your ring came with a rhodium card or any complementary rhodium plates, this documentation must be presented when booking your ring in for this service.
We will also at no cost to you resize your ring once during the 7 year period. (This does not count the initial sizing of the ring). In the case of a full set ring, there will be no charge for the gold or labor, but extra diamonds are at the customer's cost.
If you are wanting to make use of any of these services, it is the responsibility of the customer to present a Warranty booklet or rhodium card. These cannot be re-issued after the fact. The Warranty does not cover wear and tear or accidental damage which will be assessed by our Jewellers.
